In Greek Mythology, Cronus, Cronos, or Kronos, was the leader and youngest of the first generation of Titans, the divine descendants of Uranus, the sky, and Gaia, the earth. Often mistaken and confused with "Chronus", the personification of the passing of time, later they were considered one and the same. This pickup design draws influence from the combination of both legends to provide a very unique end result.
Designed and developed in collaboration with Neshiima guitarist Ross Cloughley, a.k.a "The Clock", the Kronus, just like the combined legend, combines certain characteristics from both active and passives pickups. Slightly compressed lower end, smoother mid range combined with clear and defined highs completes this Legend.
Hugely over wound bridge matched to a higher output Alnico 5 magnet, paired up with a balanced Alnico 4 in the neck, this pickup oozes plenty of sustain or "Time".
